Frequently Asked Questions

What are Ombré Powder Brows?

Ombré Powder Brows are a form of cosmetic tattoo that are created with a tattoo machine. These are meant to heal like your brows have been filled in with powder that ombrés towards the bulb (front) of the brow. This style can be made very natural or more of a makeup look depending on the look you are going for.

How long do they last?

Cosmetic Tattooing is considered semi-permanent, because the pigment we use and how we implant it into the skin is meant to fade in order to have the most natural looking result. Touch ups are recommended every 1.5 to 2 years.

How long is the appointment?

All initial Cosmetic Brow and Lip Blush appointments take around 3 hours and are considered a 2 part process.

When do I come in for my Followup Appointment?

Brow Follow-up Appointments usually take place between 4-8 weeks after the first appointment. This appointment usually takes an hour to hour and a half depending on how much there is to touch up.

Follow-up appointments for brows cannot take place any sooner than 4 weeks as it takes at least this long for the true color to show through.

Lip Follow-up appointments take place 6-8 weeks after first appointment.

Are guests allowed?

No guests are allowed to any Cosmetic Tattoo Appointments.

Right now no guests are allowed inside the shop during any services due to COVID.

How do you pick what color you'll use on me?

We keep a wide variety of colors that are trusted Cruelty Free and Vegan pigments in stock. The color we choose is based on your brow hair color/head hair color, skin color/undertone and the desired look you're wanting.

What style Brows are best suited for me?

The most popular style of Cosmetic Tattooed Brows we do are the Ombré Powder Brows because they look good on all skin types (Oily, Combination, Normal and Dry).

Nano Brows and Combination Brows are only recommended for those with Normal to Dry skin types (no oily skin types or those with oily T-zones).

Can you make my brows more symmetrical?

It is possible to level out brows and make them more even. People tend to have one side of their face that is stronger-if your muscle pull is very strong, it's recommended that you get Botox to relax the muscle at least two weeks before your appointment. If you decide you do not want Botox or something similar and you have one brow that is much stronger, please keep in mind that we can only level them so much with tattoo alone.
